Sweet and Whimsical Art for Girls

Every time I pass our little one’s new bedroom (you can see the reveal here), I find myself pausing to admire the many sweet details we incorporated.

We poured our heart and soul into creating a unique space that perfectly reflected our little one’s personality. No detail was overlooked and we were so happy to see her joy when learning this space was all her own. She had an opinion about everything, and we definitely took it into account while designing her bedroom.

For example, we spent a lot of time shopping for art. I wanted her bedroom to feel fun and whimsical and I knew art was going to play a big role in shaping that feeling. So I turned to my favorite online art community, featuring pieces from individual artists – Minted. I could spend hours scouring all of the beautiful pieces available (our layered gallery holds one of my favorite photographs from Minted).

I saved copies of the sweetest children’s art I could find, focusing on prints with muted colors and youthful details and then let our little one choose her favorites. Because I choose prints that were all very similar in colors each piece she picked worked well together.
