Vintage art is such a great way to add character and personality to a space. These unique pieces lend so much in terms of depth, interest, and charm. Not to mention, it’s always a thrill to uncover one of these hidden gems at your local thrift stores or flea markets. It’s fun to wonder about its history, who was the artist, and where did this piece live prior to you finding it.
However, it can be difficult to find these little treasures. Uncovering that perfect piece that matches your aesthetic and is within your price range isn’t always easy. And that is why I’ve come to love vintage art prints so much. You can recreate the look of vintage art for just a few dollars, and I think that is pretty great!
There are basically two steps involved in recreating the look of vintage art. You need a vintage frame (or one that looks vintage), and a vintage art print. I share all about finding vintage frames and how to use them to frame prints here, so I thought I would also round up a few of my favourite vintage landscape art prints.
Once you choose your favourite, you can learn how to print these pieces to look more like an authentic vintage painting here. It’s so simple and inexpensive to create your own unique piece!
